Phonetic Transcriptor

The Phonetic Transcriptor application is available under META-SHARE No-Redistribution Non-Commercial FF licenses. In order to download the application, please complete and sign the corresponding license agreement (fill in details for the licensee and sign the license) and send 3 copies with original signature to:

Leírás

The Phonetisator is able to rewrite a Hungarian word in a phoneme – level, speech - like transcription, considering the Hungarian spelling. The transcription will not work with number characters (example: 1,2,3,4 ...), but it will if they are written down (example: egy, kettő, három, négy …). It does not work with acronym neither. To run the application do not double click on the “Phonetisator.exe” file, create a text file instead, with the words you want to rewrite. After you have written the words you want to rewrite, press Enter for a new row. Now go to Total Commander, the program must be run in command line. Type in “Phonetisator.exe”, press space and type in the name of your text file (for example “something.txt”), press Enter. The application created a new file with the extension ”.sam” (for example “something.sam”). To see the transcription select your “sam” file and press F3 button on your keyboard.
